The Mission of the Evergreen Cemetery Association of Gainesville, Inc. is to:
Support Evergreen Cemetery, a City of Gainesville property, for the historical and cultural enrichment of the entire community.
Preserve and maintain the integrity, continuity and perpetuity of Evergreen Cemetery’s heritage by assuring it is appropriately maintained and continuously used as a burial ground.
Organize and conduct programs and activities which will enhance community appreciation of and support for Evergreen Cemetery.
To locate, assemble, preserve and maintain accurate records, historical objects, documents, manuscripts and photographs concerning Evergreen Cemetery.
To assist the City of Gainesville in its endeavor to maintain Evergreen Cemetery.
