Woodmen of the World Funerary Art

The Woodmen of the World memorials are among the most iconic American grave markers and Evergreen has several. The Woodmen of the World is a fraternal insurance cooperative that provides death benefits to their members. The original memorials are in the form of a felled tree. In the late 1920’s to mid 1930’s the company stopped providing them due to the expense.
